I’ve been reflecting a lot lately on seasons of change.
Business growth, personal shifts, relationships evolving, even how we think about success. It made me reflect on how quickly life can move when you give yourself space to be intentional rather than just react to whatever lands in front of you.
It’s wild to me how much life can change in a year. Just 52 short weeks.
I’ve seen it in my own life, and I’ve seen it in the lives of the women closest to me.
I always tell my friends when they’re discouraged that 12 months can completely reshape their circumstances, their relationships, their mindset, and even the rooms they find themselves in.
A core memory for me is when I suggested to a friend to sit down and write a letter to herself about what she hoped to see in her life a year from then. She wrote about marriage. She wrote it as if it were already unfolding.
And the following year, it did. (Crazy right?)
That moment reminded me that sometimes you need to get really clear on what you want and actually say it out loud and write it down, instead of just getting through each day.
Clarity has a way of shifting how you show up. It shapes the decisions you make, the opportunities you notice, and the energy you bring into your daily routines.
So I want you to ask yourself…
What do you want your life to feel like a year from now?
Not just what you want to accomplish.
What do you want it to feel like when you wake up? When you sit at your desk? When you walk into your home?
Peaceful? Waking up genuinely content? Confident about where you’re headed?
A year will pass whether you plan for it or not. You have more influence than you think over the direction it takes.
If this season has felt busy, uncertain, or heavier than expected, consider this a gentle invitation to pause and get honest with yourself about what you actually want next. Not just what you “should” want.
Maybe tonight is the night you write yourself that letter. 🫶🏾✨
