This week, I’m doing an alignment audit. This is what I’m keeping and what I’m releasing in my business.
I almost scaled a version of success that checked all the boxes.
✔️ Big growth ✔️ More visibility ✔️ Higher revenue
Sure, it all looked good on paper. It even felt like the “smart” next step.
But something was off.
The more I leaned into it, the more disconnected I felt from myself. From how I wanted to show up. From the life I was actively trying to build outside of work.
I kept thinking, ‘Is this really what I want?’ Or just what I’m supposed to want?
That was a hard truth to face.
Because let’s be honest, so much of what we chase in business is wrapped up in what we’ve been told success should look like. More money. Bookings. ‘Likes’. Recognition. More everything.
But here’s what I know: You can be excellent at what you do and still out of alignment with how you’re doing it.
And that’s not failure. That’s feedback.
It took a lot of honesty and deep reflection to admit it, but I realized I didn’t want to keep scaling something just because I could (or should!)
I want a business that fits the life I’m called to live, not one that competes with it.
And that kind of alignment?
It doesn’t come from hustling harder.
It comes from being willing to pause. To reassess. To release.
So if you’re in a season of realignment, let me share something that’s helped me:
Audit everything in your business. Your offers, services, systems, daily habits and routines, even your calendar, and ask this:
“Does this still serve who I’m becoming?”
And if the answer is no…it’s okay to let it go.
This shift might not be loud. It might not come with a big rebrand or announcement.
It might just be a quiet decision behind the scenes where you start honoring your energy more, saying no to things that no longer fit, and finally creating from a place of peace instead of pressure.
If you’re in the middle of that shift, I see you.
You’re not behind. Or confused. You’re getting clear.
And clarity takes courage.
