If you’ve been following our Instagram or you’re on our email list then you have seen how important brand images are for your business. Now, you’re ready to secure your spot on the calendar! Here is what you need to know before your photoshoot.
What Makes Jodie Brim Creative Different?
One of the key elements of our brand photoshoots is the strategy that goes into all of our sessions. Our branding sessions are accompanied by up to an hour call with Jodie to plan your photoshoot. First, we chat about who you are, what you do, and how you serve your audience. Then, taking the answers to those questions, we craft a variety of scenes to showcase your particular brand.
What is the whole shebang?
Brand photography is so much more than “just headshots,” and we want to ensure that you have the option of investing in images that will stick with you for 12+ months. Our Lifestyle Branding Session is perfect for the business owner who wants a comprehensive gallery that will speak to your audience. The photos and video cover creative headshots, capturing your process, telling your story, and showing you in action!
What if I’m not ready for the full brand experience?
If you need a refresh of images or are just getting your business going, then our Associate Studio Sessions will likely be the best fit for you. These are ideal for clients that need great images that speak to their client but may be under a budget or time constraint. Of course, you still receive a planning session, so we create incredible images for you, but it’s not as extensive as the Lifestyle Sessions.
What about props?
At JBC we love props! However, we want to ensure that we’re not using props for props’ sake. We will determine what props to bring based on your audience and industry. You can see a list of recommended props here and you will receive a list of recommended props when you secure a Lifestyle Session.
What can I do to prepare ahead?
When we have your strategy call we will prep you for your photoshoot. However, there are tasks you can complete ahead of time to make your photoshoot that much more successful. Honing in on who your audience is, what attracts them to your brand, what your process is, and your key brand elements will help us create a solid strategy for your session. If there are any branded products you want as part of your session then ordering them ahead of time is always a good idea too.
