A few years ago, I stopped relying solely on Instagram to grow my business, and my life and business are better for it. Here’s why.

Let me be clear. Instagram is still one of my favorite tools for showing up, connecting, and attracting the right people into my world. And truthfully, it’s been one of the best ways to get new people into my email community.

But here’s the thing: when it comes to building real relationships and guiding someone toward a decision—a 30-sec Reel isn’t enough.

I’m not the kind of person who wants to hop on Stories every day just to keep up with the algorithm. I don’t want to rely on a Reel or trending audio to explain the deeper why behind what I offer. That’s never felt like me.

I show up to serve. And I realized I needed a space where I could go deeper.

As a firm believer of social media breaks, I wanted a space where I could provide more context, more value, and more intention—without worrying about timing, trends, or algorithms. I was craving a platform that worked for me, even when I wasn’t online. 

That’s why email has become my go-to.
