When I was creating my vision board at the beginning of 2024, I had visions of creating a give-back charity opportunity, and in December, it all came to life!

The Holiday Experience was seriously a dream come true. Not only did we dance and celebrate, but we also gathered as a community to support an amazing cause. Together, we raised over $15,000 for LEAD Girls of NC. Because of this donation, 15 local girls will have access to leadership programs, mental health resources, community mentors, and more for the entire year!

This is HUGE! The need for this type of support for our young people is higher than ever, and together, we are making a real difference.

And it would not have been possible without this entire community. Not just the folks who bought tickets and came out to celebrate, but our event sponsors & incredible vendor teams who donated their evening and services so that we could make the biggest impact possible with our donation!

I am so proud of this evening and excited to share some highlights with you below ✨

As guests arrived, they were greeted by beautiful signage from Pixels & Wood. Brittany and her team went above and beyond to create all the signage for the event, everything from the welcome banner to food signs to the stunning VIP area backdrop. The gorgeous floral arrangements, courtesy of Flower Barre, added an extra touch of elegance to the evening.

The VIP area was perfectly complimented with lounge pieces from The Prettiest Pieces, creating an elevated space for mingling and relaxing between dancing. VIP guests were also treated to a little extra luxury with gift bags from Winston-Salem favorite Lizzie’s All-Natural Products.

Amber and her dream team at Balloon Blueprint elevated the entire look of the venue with eye-catching balloon installations and an event design that transformed the venue into a serious holiday party vibe.

Alpha-Lit Triad came in with the final touch, adding Instagram-worthy marquee lights to highlight the theme of the evening: We Made It!

Terrance and his team at Catch This Tee Catering absolutely killed it with the menu from the evening. Guests enjoyed a spread of Terrance’s signature favorites like cowboy butter grilled salmon sliders, Hawaiian BBQ meatballs, and more.

Inside the reception room, we were also treated to a spread of confections from The Humblebee Shoppe and delicious mini cupcakes from Lei Lei’s Cuisine.

And, of course, an assortment of festive signature cocktails from Marjae’s Wine + Cocktail Bar flowed all night, keeping spirits high as we celebrated the evening together.

The Kendra Scott team added a fun and sparkle-filled touch to the event, setting up a table with items from their beautiful jewelry collection and giving guests a chance to shop for holiday gifts and treat themselves during the party. Kendra Scott generously donated a portion of all sales to LEAD Girls of NC!

The dance party kicked off immediately, with guests arriving to a live performance from the amazing Cecile Jae and the APO Band. As the evening unfolded, the fun really ramped up. DJ Diesel took the stage and kept the party going with some all-time classics and dance-floor hits. The dance floor provided by Carey Sounds was seriously hot all night, with their team even telling us at the end of the night that this was the most high heel marks they’d ever seen on a dance floor!

And what’s a memorable night without some fun memories to capture? Our photo booths from Capture Booth NC were an absolute hit. They were so popular in years past that we had two this year! Seeing all the smiles and laughter coming from both booths all night was seriously contagious.

Of course, all these incredible photos from the event would not have been possible without Ellie and her team at Ellie McKinney Photography. I am still in awe of all the beautiful, genuine moments of joy they captured throughout the night.

And if photos weren’t enough to tell this party’s story, Thunder from Thunder Digital brought the night to life on video, sharing the energy, joy, and heartfelt moments that made this event truly unforgettable.

We closed out the evening with speeches from our sponsors and a very special presentation of the $15,000 donation to LEAD Girls of NC Founder Joy Nelson Thomas. She shared with everyone the impact this type of donation would have on their program’s capacity, and it just reaffirmed the intention and beauty of this community celebration.
