The Importance of Early Detection: Jessica’s Wake-Up Call: In Jessica’s case, her cancer was estrogen-positive—a common type—but with a critical difference: her cancer was growing at an alarming rate, four times faster than usual. This discovery was shocking, especially since she had just had a clean mammogram less than a year before feeling something concerning. Her next mammogram was already scheduled for three months later, but as she reflects, “If I had waited until then, it would have been a whole different story.”

This experience has fueled Jessica’s mission to encourage other women to prioritize their health and be consistent with check-ups. Her story serves as a powerful reminder that regular mammograms and listening to one’s body can truly be life-saving. Through her openness, Jessica has empowered countless women to take action for their own well-being.
