I have a deep love for helping women in business grow and develop. When I was asked to be a part of the Women on the Move Conference by Forsyth Woman Magazine it was an easy yes. I have been working with Forsyth Woman Magazine for a few years now and I love getting to be a part of such a great community.
Women on the Move Conference
The conference itself was hosted at Winmock where 12 local business leaders speak on different aspects of managing your life and business. From marketing to body positivity to the importance of supporting the local community. The speakers, who all own businesses in the Forsyth County area, spoke passionately about their topics.
Women from all different backgrounds came in ready to learn and soak up the knowledge that we brought. I walked away with so many nuggets in different areas of my life and am so grateful I was able to speak and attend.

The Power of the Photo | How Brand Photography Can Grow Your Business
I was honored to be one of the speakers at the Women on the Move Conference. My passion lies in brand photography, so I was excited to share with the audience my knowledge of creating a captivating visual story. When I started my business, I wanted to be able to create a life of freedom for my family. What has happened has been so much more than I could have imagined. I’ve had the incredible opportunity to build a brand and community both locally and nationwide.
This foundation was built by brand photography. When you create imagery that resonates with your audience you’re able to connect with others. You tell your story through imagery as they scroll through your Instagram feed or website. Through that story they are not only getting to know, like, and trust you but, in so many ways, they become people “in your corner.” They see you showing up again and again sharing your knowledge and your expertise.
This is one of the ways you grow your business through brand photography. There’s so much more to brand photography than a photo of you working with your laptop. It’s about bridging the gap between what you offer in the marketplace and what your audience sees. It’s about making connections with them through the screen so they are intrigued to learn more about you and your product and/or service. You can build a relationship with your audience by sharing bits of yourself and what’s important to you, as well as the solution you provide and how it can help them. The first step to this is having brand photography that helps to convey those messages.
